blah blah blah

I'm sure this is how you fellow bloggers feel when i talk about grades. I just have one left to announce and it is an A- in Ed. Ling.....I can't believe I just got straight A's..........sorry I had to bask in the glory for a minute!!! Just kidding. I guess I am a supermom (hence the blog name). Just kidding again. Okay enough about me, I am waiting for Chadliwinks to get home from helping his buddy Nate with his cows. They have been moving them around all morning and we need to leave to go to Connie's to eat. She was ready 20 minutes ago and here I still sit. Speak of the devil, he just pulled up to the house. Okay I will fill you in later on the prime rib dinner.... ta ta for now.

But i just checked it 2 minutes ago and i got an A in English!!!!!!!! I am so excited. I am hoping i pulled at least a B in my Educational linguistics class and my semester will be complete!! 5 A's are pretty satisfactory and I am so glad. almost done!!

So I would say the semester is progressing nicely since the last class is on Wednesday!!! AMEN!!!! I have a final in my Communications Disorder class and have to write a 2500 word paper and power point slides for my final project in Educational Linquistics. Pray, pray and pray for me to finish these in a timely manner. Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement. So far in my other four classes I have 'A's, I know that I am amazing. Haha just kidding. I am looking forward to going home for a few days around Christmas and we will have lots of fun and good food and that is what is getting me through right now.

I hope that all of you are doing well. Sorry Jen O. that Steve is sick, I will bring chicken noodle soup and I will make a double batch since Jen Y. is having surgery on Tuesday. Hope that if you need anything that you will call and let me know. Love to you all.

One class down!

I finished my Personal Finance class last night!! I stayed up for a long time studying and decided to just take the plunge and take the test. I probably could have done better but I got an 84 and so I tried to figure out my whole grade. Unless I did really bad on my final project, which I don't think that I did, my grade right now is a 95. I feel that is pretty satisfactory. I need to finish up my fitness journal for my PE class and I will have that done too. English, Music, Ed Linguistics, and
Communications disorders are all that are left. There is an end in sight!!

Happy birthday to you!!!!!!

Just a little note to wish Kalli a Happy Happy Happy Birthday. She is cute and fun which she herself will tell you, she loves her family, has an opinion about stuff, has lots of great clothes and shoes (which I eventually benefit greatly from!!!), and she has a big heart. She was always willing to help with my kids when they were younger, she did lots for Gabe when we lived with the family and Kalli was still home, she even watched good 'ol Zack so we could go to a football game.

Thank you for being a good Aunt and for sharing your fun self with us occasionally. I love you and hope you have great birthday!!!!

Why do I post?

So my sister-in-law Kalli told me I should start blogging and everybody gives me crap about not updating!!!! Hello is anyone out there? Now I have been updating and I can't even get a comment. I am sad that no one follows this, no one thinks about us during the day and no one really cares!!!! It seems so ridiculous to write to myself......now that that is over....... I finished my teaching for my music class today and am grateful to have that done.

I have 2 quizzes and 2 tests left in my finance class, I am done with PE, almost done with music, have 3 classes left in English and one HELLA huge research project left, a final research project in my Educational Linguistics class and a powerpoint presentation, a huge final research and interview project of a preschool child for my Language disorders class and 1 test....................even with all of this I can almost breathe a sigh of relief because this semester is over in 3 and 1/2 weeks. AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am overly excited that my family is coming for Thanksgiving!!!! I haven't seen them in awhile and I am glad that they will be here for 4 whole days. My life really is good and I thank God that I have a husband who loves me and my family and he works hard, hard, hard, and I have 3 beautimous chillens that are healthy and strong. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!! I have to remind myself sometimes that I have more good in my life than bad.

Sorry for the venting but I just always feel like I am writing to myself and I am starting to wonder if there is a point to it all. Love to all.

Good times were had by all

Here's a few more from Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh!!!!

So I got to go to the Burg for the first time in like 4 years I think!! It was super fun with our friends and we got to see our cutie little nephew for a few minutes (laugh at the pic it is okay), we were dumb and didn't get any pics of my cute little sister in law Sarah or Brett (except on the field). Much to Connie's dismay I am sure, we failed to bring back Kodak moments of our few minutes together. Sorry Connick!!

What a greatly needed vacation this was and we lived it up. I ate a sandwich there where they put the coleslaw and fries and everything on it so all you had to do was shovel it. Who needs a fork!! Thanks to my friends and Brett and Sarah for hooking us up and making it great!!

Enjoy the few photos I got.

We had a lot of fun with our friends and it was a much needed break. ~more later....

AHHHHHHHH Fall!

After a busy, busy week like usual, I came home from church and my wonderful husband has the horses saddled and ready to go in front of the house. I asked him if he was taking the kids somewhere and he said that he had brought them so he and I could go for a nice, relaxing ride. So I hurried and changed and we headed up the canyon to Willow Creek and unloaded. It was looking a little gloomy out so we grabbed the ponchos just in case. It was so beautiful because all the trees were changing colors and all you could hear was the breeze through the trees. I was riding behind Chad so I got some fun pics of him in the trees on his horse.

I am an official cowgirl, haha, because Chad gave me his old chinks (as you can see in our picture). So I guess maybe that makes me look more cowgirl-like and it makes it feel like I am actually important.

We had a great ride and found some of our friend Nate's cows and we started pushing them back to where they should be and the thunder and lightning started. It began to pour rain and I was so thankful we had grabbed the ponchos. We hurried and got those on and CRACK!!! there was a lightning strick less than a seconds count away from us. Then I was a little freaked out because you would see the lightning and then instantly hear the thunder. It was all around us and I just started to pray. We are talking hard core Baptist praying!!! Just kidding. We got the cows back to where they needed to be and the rain started to subside and we just enjoyed the rest of our ride back to the truck. We had some cold ones and went home refreshed and full of love for each other. Little times like this make you realize who and what is important and I am very thankful to God that I have a family and husband who need me and love me back.

Fun at School

While I was home the last time (the same time as my Birthday party) I got to go spend some time with my nephew Camryn. I got to go eat in the cafeteria at school with him. It has been since High School since I ate there. I laughed because the same ladies that were there when I was in school are the same ones that were there that day. They are still drill sargeants (spelling?) like I remember them!! hahaha! Anyway, it was lots of fun and we got to play at recess and then I got to go to storytime in his class. I was really glad I got to go and spend time with Cam and I think he had fun too!

My Birthday

So this was a few weeks ago also but remember I am still trying to catch up!! We got to go home to Wyoming to celebrate the life of one of Chad's aunts and we got to see our families. My family threw a little early Birthday party for me and made lots of good food. My mom and sister made me a lovely decorated cake and yummy rasberry topping for it. IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOD!! And they surprised me and my sister got me a gorgeous necklace and they all chipped in an bought me a new digital camera. I was sooooo excited and was really glad to spend some time hanging out at Dani's and we got to see our cousins Josh and Erin and their cutie little kids. I miss everyone just talking about it.

Backyard Fun

So my life has been a total blur since the end of August when my school started but I have managed to squeeze in some fun here and there. I have been told by my one or two friends that I should update my blog more than 4 times in a year, so here goes.

The kids had a backyard concert with all of the neighborhood kids and it was an all day affair. We had kids coming and going and making signs and printing of programs. It was a lot of fun and we got to see the many talents and fun personalities of all the different nubs.

Gabe's Baptism

Hey I'm sure most of you know that Gabe got baptized this summer at church camp!! It was so awesome and I was very proud of Gabe. God tells us to be baptized and he did it in front of about 70 campers and all the counselors and a little bit of family. What a great testimony of his faith in God and how excited I was for him!! Hope the video comes through alright!! Luv ya!!

Busy, Busy Summer!!

Just like most of you, I had a very busy summer!!! It was great!! We got to go camping a lot, I got to take my kids home to Wyo a couple of times, we got to meet Ben Roethlisberger, go to South Dakota, go to Camp Bethel, Chad took me to Denver for our 10th Anniversary, celebrate my new little nephew's (Sam) arrival and occationally get to hang out for a breather at home!! Sounds very busy I know.

The boys played baseball this summer and did very well. Zack even conquered baseball with his cast on and could bat and catch better than most of the rest of the team!! They were sad when he got his cast off because the doctor said he needed to wait a few weeks before playing again, so that was the end of his season. Gabe's team did awesome!! They had a great little team and they went on to State baseball and got to play in the consolation championship game. There were a lot of tears when they didn't make it to the championship game, but they took 4th and I thought that was pretty awesome. What was really awesome was that Gabe got a great hit in the last game and brought a runner in and he got to get on second base!! WAY TO GO GABE!! I have to admit that I was a screamer and a yeller and when he got his hit I got a little choked up. haha. I was filled with pride. =)

I am still ALIVE!!

Hey, I promise I am still alive even though I am sure nobody every even checks!! Yesterday started off as a usual Monday and then Zack had to go out for recess. It was over!! He was climbing on the monkey bars and plunged to the ground. The office calls and says,"Zack fell off the monkey bars and we think maybe you will want to take him to the clinic. So we will get his things and have him in the office." After getting him and seeing how much pain he was in, I decided to bypass the clinic and go straight to the ER in Gunnison.

Once we got there he had relaxed a little bit and we saw the xray people and the doc and it was for sure broken!!! Ya, big surprise with Zack right? Anyway, since he had just eaten lunch we had to wait 3 hours so he wouldn't arf cause of the medicine. They set his arm and he came to about 20 minutes later and he was ready to go home.

In the car on the way home he says to me,"Prayer really must work Mom cause I don't remember any of it." I laughed and said,"Ya, it works pretty good!" Then he thinks for a second and says,"Well, at least we got a free pillow out of the deal!!" I laughed so hard because he was trying really hard to see the good in the situation. THAT'S OUR SPUNKY!!!

BEAUTIMOUS BREAD

YUMM-O!!! Look at this beautimous bread that I made. I found the recipe online and decided to make it. It turned out so pretty that I thought everyone should see it. How nice of me huh? Anyway we ate it with a Southwest Cheesy Potato Soup. Bet you wish that you had been visiting huh? Anyway, I just wanted to show Better Crocker I am hot on her tail. Luv to all.

Next Generation of BBALL players

Look how cute!!!! Gabey is officially a basketball player. He plays in the Snow College basketball league for the 3rd and 4th graders. He did pretty well and he is an awesome double dribbler and traveler too!! It is funny to watch little kids play. On the way to the game Gabe asked Zack if he was actually going to sit and watch the game so he could "learn" something about the game. I laughed out loud because after 5 practices and 2 games you know that you are a pro, I guess!!! Funny.

Mountains of Snow

Yeah we got a foot of much needed snow today. When I came home from church, Chad has been plowing the snow with his buddy's tractor and we came home to a mountian of snow in our yard. Looks like a sledding opportunity!!! It was Sunday and you actually saw children outside in Mormonville!! I was so thrilled to watch how excited the kids got to be able to sled in our own front yard. Lady the dog was enjoying rolling around in the fresh powder. I heard a "thunk" on the side of the house and couldn't find Zackary. I heard a little giggle and asked him where he was and if he was okay. He said, "That was awesome!!!" I asked again, "Where are you?" He responded that he was down in the window well. Only Zack could have pulled that stunt off and laughed about it.

God is good to give us the snow that we need. My verse for the day today was: Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

Speaking of which, I start school TOMORROW. Four months of crazy life and then three of vacation. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. I am starting to read the "Purpose Driven Life" if anyone wants to read it with me. It is a 40 day, easy read and would be glad to have reading partners.

Love to all, J

Favorite Photo for 2007

My sister Dani and her son Camryn making retard faces while waiting in line at Universal Studios to see Shrek 4-D.

Dani might kill me for this.

Tech Tard

I am normally a "techtard" when it comes to doing anything on the computer besides Word Perfect but this was actually pretty easy to get going. When my mom was visiting a few months ago it took me 2 hours to figure out how to upload a picture of hers on to a dating website. I ended up having to do it several more times and now I am a certified whiz!!

My sister-in-law Kalli has a blog and she told me I should start one. Yeah, look at me go. I don't know if I will ever have anything of value to say but I will try anyway because I know at least my mom and Kalli will read it and possibly my sister Dani and my aunt Barbara.

Well let's see if this actually works when I try to post it.

I start my last semester at Snow on Monday. Graduation here I come. I still have 13 credits but that is a full load when you have three kids, a husband, a home, a dog, 4 horses, 5 classes and a partridge in a pear tree!!

Love to all until the next blog.
