Here's a few pics of the fun we had this weekend. We had all been hard at it all week and we decided to take off to someplace a little warmer and green so we could get some outdoor time. We stayed at the same place that we did a few years ago and the kids must have swam 6 or 7 times while we were there. It was great and Chad and I enjoyed the hot tub mostly but did get in the pool a little. We went out to try and find the Ivin Petroglyphs but had no luck but found a fun little trail and we took a hike. We got to eat at the Chuckarama twice and the kids were thrilled. Funny how something like that can make them so happy but it really is great because there is such a good variety and it is instant food. We took the kids to this really fun place called Jumpin' Jacks because they were having an Easter egg hunt. We had to pay $3 and then they only ended up being able to get 6 eggs a piece. Some of the eggs had pieces of paper in it and if you had one of those you got a bigger prize. Abby had 5 out of her 6 eggs that had those in it and Zack didn't get any. She gave him two of hers and she ended up getting a bell for her bike, a free kids meal at Bajio, and a free pass for a year for her to go to Jumpin Jacks. We gave the pass to a lady with a jillion kids and she was really excited. Zack ended up getting a bell for his bike and a really neat soccer ball. It was pretty fun and they were giving away some fun prizes. We took off and went to a park and let the kids play and we got in a little football. I forgot to mention that we went to Snow Canyon State Park. It is hard to believe that something so little can be called a State Park. Some of it was pretty cool. The kids enjoyed climbing around on one of the little arches and we climbed up the face of a rock where people were rock climbing and saw names of pioneers from the 1800's. Overall it was a pretty nice little weekend away after working on so much homework!!!
